The monastery was built between 1582 and 1627, in honour of the patron saint of Lisbon, St Vicente. Note the sober façade in limestone, in imposing dimensions. Inside the church, admire the magnificent mosaic in polychrome marble and the marvellous floor in Brazilian wood.
