The Trindade's convent was founded by D. João I, in the XVI century, for the friars of the Trinitários' order, who were often seen making public collections in the village. The convent's church has a distinct mannerist influence. The friars' cells were on the first floor and on the ground floor there were the kitchen and the dining room.
