WebsiteBuilt by D. Afonso Henriques in the XII century, this Church is built in a Romanic architectural design. Later, it was renovated by D. Diniz, who brought some traces of Gothic architecture to the building, although still maintaining its original structure. After the earthquake in 1755, the church was severely damaged, so today, you can see some traces of the 1700´s style.
