"Sta Maria's" church suffered some minor changes to its original architecture, after it had been built in the XII century.
During the XV century, these changes turned its Medieval Style into a Gothic-Romantic Style. After the great Lisbon earthquake in 1755, new repairs were made, thus increasing the variety of styles.
