The Adega das Gravatas, which in Portuguese literally means "ties wine cellar," has an history of almost one hundred years. It was established in Carnide, a traditional neighborhood in Lisbon, and has become the first option for all those that search for quality paired with professional and pleasant service. Adega is decorated with more than three thousand ties that hang from its ceilings (generally donated by clients) and presents a menu of some typical Portuguese dishes. Be sure to try the Grilled Octopus and the Monkfish Rice. -Mario Borges
