Built in 1877 and extended in the 1930s, it holds a superb collection of paintings, sculpture and fine arts from the 14th-20th century. The gallery stages regular exhibitions, events, tours and family activities. The works include Rembrandt, Monet, Matisse and world famous collections by William Frederick Yeames and Rossetti.
