The owners claim that they have been researching Portuguese cuisine for many years in the hunt for original and genuine dishes. The result is an expensive menu overloaded with the taste of rural Portugal. The setting is beautifully created, featuring a country house interior with patterned curtains and tablecloths, lots of wicker and the atmosphere of family gatherings after church on Sundays. Of course, you can get your usual plate of tasty bacalhau, veal, and duck, plus the very juicy turkey stroganoff, that might sound more eastern European than western but nevertheless sits well with the Portuguese wines.
