A very popular Macanese diner in the center of town, this is a great place to get acquainted with the wonders of local cuisine. The rustic charm of central Portugal is the theme, a design that you either love or hate. On Taipa the patterned tablecloths, stone jugs and frilly curtains look fine, but some say that “downtown” this look lacks authenticity. Judge for yourself. Bacalhau and other seafood dishes are the mainstays of this largely traditional menu. Prices are incredibly cheap, and many people enjoy the experience more knowing that the cost is so low.
