Website | EmailThe displays and exhibitions at Pump House reconstruct the lives of ordinary people over the past 200 years. The journey takes you - with the help of vivid reconstructions - from Victorian cotton workers to modern-day footballers. There are also interactive exhibits which enable you to be an apprentice at a 1930s Co-op shop or step into the shoes of a 19th-century newspaper reporter. The exhibition includes a unique collection of union banners, posters, badges and other related ephemera. There is also a cafe and gift shop, and special guided tours are available for groups on request.
