From this spot grew the huge international co-operative movement of today and the Pioneers Museum proudly reflects its place in history. Visitors from all over the world come to see the wide selection of interactive displays, exhibits - there is even a reconstruction of the original shop - and documents relating to the first Rochdale Pioneers and the steady growth of the company into a worldwide business organisation.
