Spice opened five years ago to attract the growing number of young professionals living in and around the Chorlton area. Its décor is minimal, with warm spicy colors and a single flower on each table and it offers a fusion of world cuisine with a nod towards the Far East.Starters average out at £4 with choices such as watermelon, ginger and feta salad. Main courses start at around £12 and include tiger prawns filled with chillies, lemongrass, galangal and a mango dressing. The mainly New World wine list starts with a Chilean red at £9.95 a bottle, while beers include Negra Modelo for around £2.
