This three-story bar, operated by Greenalls brewery, is one of the more recent - and successful - corporate additions to the Gay Village mixing a relaxed yet sophisticated feel with adventurous food and design. As well as its unique curved wooden exterior style - a theme continued inside - that dominates the western end of Canal Street, it is probably most renowned for its lovely open roof garden which has to be booked well in advance on summer evenings. The food menu consists mainly of deli-style items and an interesting assortment of wraps. Starters include bon bon noodles in lucky lettuce, while specialty wraps such as steak with sweet potato, caramelized onions and puttanesca sauce cost around £6. There is also a special Sunday roast menu at £5.95 per head.
