Tangled has gone from strength to strength over the last 7 years, even landing a highly respected Manchester lifestyle magazine Club of the Year award. Phil and Terry (the promoters) have made their mark by keeping things simple and playing top class progressive house and melodic trance music. The approach is populist, the atmosphere celebratory, the crowd always up for it, yet the overall feel is still defiantly underground, an ideal combination really. Upstairs things generally take a more leftfield approach, playing host to Manchester's renowned experimental clique, where warped dub, electronica and ambient rule.
