WebsiteBilled as the world's largest dome coliseum when it opened in 1960, the Araneta Coliseum has played host to performances by the world's top entertainers over the past four decades. Recently renovated inside and out, with an eye catching exterior repainted in bright yellow and blue, the coliseum remains a major venue for sports and entertainment events, including PBA (Philippine Basketball Association) matches, beauty pageants, an ice skating revue at Christmas time (an ongoing tradition since the coliseum opened) and pop/rock concerts throughout the year.
