WebsiteNot so long ago, this place was overrun by wild pampas grass. Now the concentration of high-rise buildings is challenging Makati as Manila's main business and commercial center. Ortigas is the site of three huge shopping malls - SM Megamall, Shangri-La Plaza Mall and Robinson's Galleria. It is also where the headquarters of San Miguel Corporation, the Asian Development Bank and the Philippine Stock Exchange Center are located. Shops and eateries abound, with El Pueblo & St. Francis Square devoted to the latter. Kids will enjoy the amusement centers and an ice skating rink.
