The restored whaling captain's home was constructed in 1820 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The bed and breakfast has large rooms adorned with family furniture and antiques. A four-course breakfast is served in the breakfast room or, weather permitting, in the inn's English garden. A vase of fresh flowers can be found in every room along with a decanter of sherry.
