It isn't too far from the bustling town of Lahaina, but neither is it too close to all the noise. The beach outside is nicely maintained and not too crowded. The town of Kahana is in between touristy Ka'anapali and ritzy Kapalua. Everything on the western side of the island is easily accessible by car.
