This cross-country resort is just a hop, ski and a jump away, offering the closest consistent snowfall to Melbourne. It is also one of the three busiest cross-country resorts in the world--a proud boast indeed. As a day visitor destination, Lake Mountain Ski Resort does not provide any on-mountain accommodation. Most visitors will choose to stay in beautiful Marysville, a township situated 20 kilometres away from the mountain. A kiosk, ski and toboggan equipment hire shop and ski school cater for day visitors. Summit: 1,520 metres Skiable terrain: 2,400 hectares Toboggan slopes: 73.7 kilometres of well marked trails.
