Right on Melbourne's doorstep, the delightful village atmosphere of Mt Baw Baw is ideal for beginner skiers and families. As well as Victoria's best beginner and intermediate slopes, there are eight black diamond runs for advanced skiers. Mt Baw Baw is also a cross-country skier's paradise, with free access to the 10 kilometres of groomed trails. Snowboarders will find runs for all standards--the jeeptrack providing a natural halfpipe, as well as a challenging obstacle course.
