Not far from Mt Hotham is the high country village of Dinner Plain. The entire village was designed by the one architect to blend into the surrounding environment, and features rough-hewn timber and stone. The village comprises over 240 private lodges, cabins, apartments and commercial lodges, with numerous restaurants and bars. In summer try mountain biking, horse riding, bush walking, or fly-fishing. In winter, explore the extensive cross-country ski trails or hit the toboggan run. Mt Hotham lift passes are valid for Dinner Plain.
