The Grampians are an ancient mountain range, rich in Aboriginal and geological history. Here you will find one of the state's most beautiful national parks and a wine region steeped in history. Born in Victoria's gold rush era in the 1850's, the district specialises in fabulous sparkling wine, as well as highly regarded table wines. Garden Gully Vineyards produces traditional Methode Sparkling Pinot, Grenache, Riesling, Shiraz and Sparkling Burgundy. The sparkling red is outstanding. Prices range from AUD13-AUD30. Barbeque facilities and a picnic area are available for the use of visitors.
