Website | EmailSeal Rocks lives up to its name as the zoo of the future. Here, visitors can observe Australia's largest colony of fur seals--some 16,000 of them--at play in their natural habitat without disturbing them. If the binoculars available on the headland do not suffice for a good view, a camera beams the action back to a huge screen, accompanied by an informative commentary. You can also relive George Bass' epic journey of discovery through Bass Strait and learn about the ecology of the Southern oceans. The centre closes after dark to protect jaywalking penguins. Admission: Adults AUD10; children AUD5; concession AUD9.
