Silky Apple stands out amongst the hordes of Chinese eateries in Melbourne; and for good reason. Sticking to traditional recipes, the eatery has been serving genuine, wholesome and mouth-watering Chinese fare. Good old Chinese food purists can rejoice. Peking Duck, Honey Pork and Ginger Lobster are delightful and so are Chili Prawns, Dim Sims and Fried Rice. The ambiance is unpretentious and comfortable. The portions are quite huge and the prices, moderate. Don't forget to try the aromatic and well-flavored Chinese tea. In the Aussies' own words, it's all good here.
