Established in 1981, this traditional Indian restaurant will appeal to both purists and those less keen on spicy food. Traditional, but not glitzy, modern Indian decor. Fresh flowers in ceiling baskets and a sparkling tiled floor add to the pleasant atmosphere. The extensive range of meat and vegetarian Indian and Pakistani tandoori dishes can be ordered mild, medium or hot. The Chicken Korma, served in cashew nut gravy is a mild option, while the spicy lamb vindaloo will satisfy purists. There are 12 different types of naan and paratha bread on offer, plus soups, entrees and desserts.
