One of the very cheapest of the numerous inexpensive eateries in this area, Thanh Phong is definitely a no-frills establishment, but serves tasty and well-prepared food. With a clientele consisting mainly of local immigrants and refugees, you know that the food is true to its roots, which is just as well given the forgettable Spartan decor. As well as a range of hearty peasant style rice and noodle soups, there is barbecued chicken on rice. Walk in and enjoy.
