Since 1978, Almazett has been providing freshly prepared, high quality Lebanese food. The haunting Arabic music, open archways, rendered walls, Persian rugs and metal serving plates transport you to the Middle East. The superb mixed entree mezze (AUD28-32) is best shared with a large party, or you will not have room for the main course. The whole grilled fish, with tahina, walnuts, chillies, garlic and pine nuts (AUD13-AUD16) is wonderful and very filling. For dessert try mahallabiye. Made of semolina and rosewater, it is like an "unset" Turkish delight.
