The owner, Maryanne, is constantly getting in trouble with the local council for her naughty antics and sassy style. Subsequently, Fruits of Passion exudes Maryanne's distinctive joie de vivre. There are few tables and chairs, except for the ones out front. So, most people sit along the high window-front counter. The effect is as though eating in an earthy fruit and vegetable store. Vegetarians will be in bliss when they enter Fruits of Passion. The emphasis is on fresh, free-range and organic--sourdough breads, eggs, gourmet food and ingredients. The menu reflects this approach.
