This is one of those restaurants that, while you want to recommend it to all your friends, you are scared that if you do you will never be able to get a table again! It is small, cozy and always very busy. An open log fire, wooden floors and books everywhere create a real warm, homey feel. You can read the second-hand books as you dine and purchase them as you leave. The innovative menu comprises traditional dishes (steaks and fish), clever new ways with simple ingredients for the more adventurous, as well as plenty of vegetarian options.
