It appears more café-like from the outside in keeping with the casual tranquillity of Bellair Street, but The Blue Door is actually a very fine restaurant in the traditional sense. Not surprisingly, blue is the predominant colour here making the restaurant easy to locate. The interior is relaxed verging on formal, and the patrons tend to be up and coming locals. (The Blue Door is a well-protected Kensington secret!). Dishes span the globe--mushroom Florentine, American-style pork spare ribs, Cajun trevally. The restaurant is also fully licensed with a solid wine list.
