Lygon Charcoal Grill and Steakhouse is a basic meat and potatoes kind of restaurant, with tasteful decor and traditional service. Popular with an older crowd for both business lunches and a social dinner with friends. Steak is the house speciality, and is served in many different ways. There is Steak Mexicana, Garlic Steak, Mushroom Steak and their own speciality--a tender grilled porterhouse topped with a demi-glace sauce with fried onions, capsicum, mushrooms, hot or mild chilly and black pepper. Chicken gets similar treatment. All meals come with salad or hot vegetables and chips. Desserts include Italian ice cream or fruit filled pancakes. Bring your own wine only.
