Although located in Melbourne's trendy café district, this restaurant eschews the latest fads in favour of hearty, good old-fashioned fare. The building's exterior looks like a big brick barn and inside it resembles a slightly dated family restaurant. However, one look at the menu will reassure you as to what kind of establishment it is. The speciality is steak, cooked to order and served in generous portions. Among the seafood options are stuffed crabs and King George whiting. Be warned though, if you are not a carnivore at heart this might not be the right place for you!
