Although it has been around for over a decade, Saloon just keeps rolling on as one of Melbourne's most popular places for a night out. It comes with all the relics of the wild west - barrels form bars, the stools are like saddles and American paraphernalia adorns all corners of the building. There are live bands most nights, while the front bar offers a more serene retreat, with pool tables a popular fixture out the back. Depending what night you are there, you may be charged a small admission fee, but this varies.
