On the surface a purple emerald is all glitz and glamour. But on closer inspection, imperfections emerge. The same goes for The Purple Emerald bar, but this is not a bad thing. A few rips in the couches just add to the down-to-earth, friendly feel. Lounges, lounges and more lounges provide comfortable spots to spend the evening. The retro styling, surprisingly enough, does not feature a lot of purple. Patrons from business people to Goths and hippies enjoy live jazz from Wednesday to Sunday nights. Drink prices are standard which means you can be groovy without going over budget.
