The Great Britain used to be a feared place, not to be entered by anyone not looking for a fight. However, after a change of management, the clientele and the pub itself have changed extensively. Now, people of all backgrounds meet in the dark, cosy interior. In winter, if you can grab a place in front of the fire, it is doubtful that there is a more comfortable spot in Melbourne. Be sure to check out the TV fish tank! On Wednesday nights you can enjoy a bit of "indie", techno, trip hop, jungle beats and dub.
