PJ O'Briens is a haven for the after-five crowd from the surrounding office towers on Friday nights, and attracts a rowdy, younger crowd on Saturday evenings. The pub reflects Melbourne's ever growing fascination with drinking houses of the Irish variety. Remarkably, it was the first of the city's Irish pubs to be designed and built in Dublin. The rollicking traditional music will set the scene for a great night out, although it is much quieter from Tuesday to Thursday, when you can enjoy the intimate booths. If Guinness is not your thing, there are eight beers on tap.
