Turtle Cafe occupies a prime corner of fashionable Elwood with sprawling outside seating. Here suits do not seem out of place next to surfies, mobile phones next to nappy bags! It attracts most of the local population (which includes all of the above!) and is a great place to meet. The decor is informal, almost thrown together, creating the kind of atmosphere that is easy to relax in. The food is good but nothing outstanding, with a menu of focaccias, salads, sandwiches, bagels, pastries, coffees, milkshakes and juices. It is Turtle's credibility that attracts the crowd.
