Chez Phat attracts a sophisticated and arty crowd. This warehouse style space in the heart of a Chinatown alley seems slightly risqué until you realise that culinary maestro Stephanie Alexander has something to do with it. You can choose to lounge around the funky orange vinyl chairs or dine communally around the large tables. Dishes are modern European with an Asian influence. Some unusual items on display are the prawn sandwiches, croque monsieur and anchovy toasts.
