Dale & Danny's Blue, known as the Next Blue, is one of the top bars in Melbourne, frequented by corporate groups, celebrities, musicians and nightclubbers. This dimly lit, two-storey, New York style installation has boldly re-adopted the speak-easy environment. Moving slide projections and abstract works cover the lofty walls. Be sure to study the series of re-labelled whisky bottles tracing the evolution of jazz. Tapas style meals with an Asian influence are served between 6p and midnight. A selection of dumplings, lemongrass prawns and paté on mini toasts and some Martinis would keep you craving for more.
