Open since 1997, Scubar is still one of the city's most popular bar/lounge/clubs. With an endless influx of patrons, it is the venue when you are feeling happy and wearing your party shoes. Cleverly kitsch and a mishmash of styles, Scubar combines a leopard skin pool table and futon with beaded curtains, carpeted walls and white bucket seats: très tasteful and equally attractive to after work drinkers and the late night teeny-hopper contingent. Drinks are reasonably priced but food is limited. The music is funky and plays six nights a week at a high decibel level. Crank it up!
