The only place dedicated to bringing a touch of the trend-setting English club scene to Melbourne. In contrast to many 19th century English pub-style establishments, Club UK focuses on contemporary British popular culture, right down to the toilet doors - marked 'Sid' and 'Nancy'! Animated characters Wallace and Grommit watch over the bar and an autographed photograph of comedian John Cleese is by the door. DJs pump out music ranging from progressive house to Britpop and northern soul. During Happy Hour (5pm-7pm Thursdays and Fridays) there are specials on all English pints and basic spirits. Snacks and meals are available.
