Nestled amongst the cafés that dominate Fitzroy Street, Chronicles' selection of books is relatively small, but designed to appeal to the locals. The staff describes the shop's content as strong all round with design, fiction, biography, history and cooking worth a particular mention. Books on music are a recent addition. You can quite often find signed books here and from time to time there will be a table or two of books on sale. As usual in the case of small, quality shops the sales reflect this...books you actually want to take home.
