This arcade has a distinct Asian feel, which make sense when you realize it goes through to Chinatown. There are quite a few eateries here--a Japanese restaurant (Kaneda), a couple of Chinese noodle houses, and a café with cheap Malaysian-style dishes. You will also find Xy-Tangs Treasures, full of beautiful bead necklaces and traditional Chinese Buddhist statues. There are three hairdressers, a beauty salon and a Chinese herbalist. You can rent Chinese or Thai videos from specialist shops, or buy funky contemporary Asian fashion (including some crazy shoes). Hobby Japan focuses on animation figurines and related merchandise. There is a car park underneath the arcade--entrance is from Chinatown.
