The Light rail service connects to 15 other destinations including downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America (http://www.metrotransit.org/rail).

Airport Passenger Service (+1 800 869 5796 / http://www.airportpassenger.com) offers transportation to Hudson, Baldwin, Menomonie, Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire.

Chippewa Valley Airport Service (+1 715 830 9400 / http://www.chippewavalleyairportservice.com) provides transportation at scheduled intervals everyday from select locations in Eau Claire, Menomonie, Baldwin and Hudson.

Taxis are readily available at both terminals. Downtown Minneapolis is approximately 16 miles from the airport with a fare of around USD25. Downtown St. Paul is approximately 12 miles with a fare averaging USD15.

By Train:

Amtrak's Empire Builder (+1 800 872 7245 / http://www.amtrak.com) route runs daily between Chicago and Seattle or Portland. It stops at the Midway Station on 730 Transfer Rd in St. Paul.

By Bus:

By Car:

Access Minneapolis/St. Paul via I-94 (East-West), I-394 (East-West), I-35 (North-South), and Highway 36 (East-West).

Getting Around:

The Minneapolis/St. Paul transit (+1 612 373 3333 / http://www.metrotransit.org) system has a Light Rail train that runs between downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America via the Hiawatha Line. The Metro Transit also has over one hundred bus routes throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul and surrounding suburbs.
