This magnificent city comprising seven islands, overlooks the Arabian Sea and is located on the Western coast of India. Mumbai is the commercial center of India and is home to the biggest stock exchange in the country. Also known as Bollywood, it is the second-largest film producing state in the world. But most importantly, it is best known for its exotic monsoons that are an integral part of the city culture and transform its day-to-day life for about four months (between June and October). The Northern part of the city is primarily made up of residential suburbs and the Southern part is called Town, and has most of the administrative offices and commercial enterprises.
