The Dene is a family-owned hotel conveniently situated in a pleasant suburban residential street. It offers a helpful and personal service. There is a lift, and one room with widened doors which would be suitable for a disabled guest. At the bottom of the street is the beautiful Jesmond Dene, a Victorian park, with many places of interest and charm to explore. The city centre is only one and a half miles away, whilst Gateshead International Stadium can be reached by the Metro from West Jesmond. Most of the tastefully and traditionally decorated rooms are en suite.
