Website | EmailThis Museum was founded in 1801 by the Nuremberg Natural History Society. The collection is grouped into specific areas such as archeology, paleontology and early civilisations. There are also extensive holdings of minerals and fossils. The museum is very popular with children and the way it is set up makes it easy for accompanying adults to explain the exhibits. The Society organises a host of film screenings, excursions and lectures throughout the year.
