Website | EmailRock im Park is one of the biggest open air festivals in Europe. More than 150,000 people are expected to head bang at this rock fest. This is the sister festival to the other immensely popular fest Rock am Rings. Get ready for some electrifying entertainment every year in the beginning of June. The festival has been going on for more than 20 years and has featured bands including Iron Maiden, Marilyn Manson, Green Day, Mötley Crüe, Chemical Brothers, The Hives, Garbage, and Velvet Revolve. The festival takes place over three stages and was originally planned to inaugurate the new Volkspark Marienberg, however it has grown into one of the most popular and well-known festivals.
