Website | EmailLorenzkirche. It was built by Benedikt Wurzelbauer and the bronze figures, which are mainly female, represent the six virtues of the ideal man: faith (crucifix), hope (anchor), love (mother with children), courage (lion), temperance (water bowl)and patience (lamb). Water gushes out of trumpets and the female figures' breasts. The city's coat of arms also adorn this masterpiece, the idea being that citizens should be encouraged to adopt these virtues. The fountain is topped by the figure of Justice, who holds a sword in one hand and scales in the other.
