In 1960 the first cinema was built on these premises and it has continued to expand. A dancing school and a coffee shop had to make way for the five other viewing halls that are today part of this venue. Even though the arrival of the CineCitta has managed to change the city's cinematic scene, the Admiral has continued to do well, not least because of its comfortable seats and technical sound and screen quality.
