The permanent exhibit includes works by El Greco, Degas, Monet and Renoir. 19th- and 20th-century art receive a special focus. The museum building itself is a striking, architectural find. Thirty-eight different types of marble were used in construction. The exterior glows a light pink, setting the building apart from the rest of downtown Omaha.
